Dough Timer (“the App”) is developed and provided by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Dough Timer does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data about you.

Specifically, the App does not collect:

Your name
Your email address
Your phone number
Contact list or address book
Location or GPS data
Photos, media, or files
Health or fitness data
Usage analytics or tracking data
Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
Device identifiers
Crash logs
Any information that could identify you personally

No information is sent to external servers, third-party services, analytics platforms, or tracking systems. The App has no server backend and does not communicate with any external system other than the Apple App Store during installation or updates.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To support its core features, Dough Timer stores a small amount of data only on your device.

This includes:

Your selected step durations
Custom presets you create
Timer progress
App preferences (such as sound or notification settings)

This data is stored locally using Apple’s UserDefaults system and is never transmitted off your device or shared with any third party.

You may delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App.

3. Notifications

If you choose to enable notifications, the App schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of:

Step timing
Folding or shaping schedules
Bake or preheat reminders
Timer completions

Notification data is handled entirely on your device. No notification content is transmitted outside the device or stored remotely.

You may disable notifications at any time in the iOS Settings app.

4. No Third-Party Services

Dough Timer does not use or integrate with any third-party services, including:

Analytics providers
Advertising networks
Tracking or profiling services
Cloud storage services
Remote servers or databases
Crash reporting tools
Social logins
Data brokers

The App is completely self-contained and works entirely on your device.

5. Children’s Privacy

Dough Timer is safe for all ages. The App:

Collects no personal data from children or adults
Does not track, profile, or monitor users
Does not create user accounts of any kind

          Because the App does not collect any personal information, it complies with
          relevant privacy regulations such as COPPA and GDPR by design.
        

6. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

The App will continue to collect no personal data unless explicitly stated in a future version and separately consented to by you.
